BLACKPIT BREWERY BONFIRE & FIREWORKS FAQ’S

Have a good read through the below FAQ’s - if we haven’t included the answer to your question,

just drop us an email on events@blackpitbrewery.co.uk

  • The event takes place on the Blackpit Brewery site. A vast green space with a beautiful lake surrounded by ancient woodland. Please ensure you dress appropriately for the weather conditions, as we are a green-field site with some hardstanding roadways, wellies may be needed in the event of wet weather. There are limited sheltered ares as it is an open-air event.

  • If you are travelling by car, please use the postcode MK18 5LJ and then follow the yellow event signage. Car parking is available on site and is included in your ticket price. Please note that our car park is on grass.

Blue badge holders will be given priority to park on hardstanding areas close to the event site. Please have your blue badge on display as you turn off the main road so stewards can direct you to the correct car park on arrival.

We have great connections to rail and road with Milton Keynes and Northampton train stations just half an hour away and the M1 and M40 within easy reach.

  • Our Bonfire & Fireworks event is on Saturday 4th November. Gates open at 3pm and the event closes at 8pm. Arrive early to make the most of the event.

  • We have some of the best street food in the Buckinghamshire and the UK joining us for the event! There will be more great vendors than ever before however, we still do expect queues at peak times due to the nature of the event. To avoid long queues we advise you arrive early and eat before 5pm. Our bars will be serving everything from lagers and ales, to mulled wine and Prosecco! We will have teas, coffees and hot chocolates on offer too to warm you up.

  • Everyone arriving to the site will need a ticket. Adult tickets are required for anyone aged 16 and over. Children aged 15 and under are free of charge, please ensure you book their free ticket. We reserve the right to ask for ID if we believe the ticket holder is not the correct age for their ticket type.

Tickets can only be booked through our official ticketing website, Kaboodle. Tickets should not be offered for resale and we do not condone purchasing tickets through any other platform as they may not be legitimate and not permit access to the event.

We advise you print all of your tickets where possible as this will help us process you quicker on the gate and avoid any issues with low batteries and poor signal.

All bookers will receive an email with tickets attached before the event. If you have bought tickets for people who will be arriving at a different time to you, please ensure you distribute them to your party before your arrival. Each ticket has a unique QR code on it which can only be scanned once for entry.

Tickets are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Your request must reach us in writing and within this timeframe. Once 14 days have passed, your booking is final and cannot be refunded. Any tickets purchased less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable.

  • As much as we love dogs, a fireworks event isn't a safe space for a dog so they are not permitted at the event with the exception of registered assistance dogs. If you're bringing a registered assistance dog, please let us know in advance by emailing events@blackpitbrewery.co.uk with a copy of your Assistance Dog ID card/booklet before 22/10/22 so we can be adequately prepared. We request that the dog is registered with an organisation that is a member of Assistance Dogs UK.

  • Blackpit Brewery strive to make the event welcoming to everyone and aim to make the event as accessible as possible to all guests. We will be offering accessible facilities and parking for those who need it. Our accessible facilities are limited, and we prioritse them for guests with long term disabilities. Therefore, they are not generally available for those with temporary conditions, such as pregnancy or broken limbs.

Before booking a ticket please be aware that the event is hosted on a green-field site with limited hardstanding areas. Ground conditions are weather dependant and should we experience extreme weather, mobility across some areas of the site may become compromised.

For information on registered assisstance dogs and personal assistants, please see the dedicated sections on this page.

We will be offering the folloing for disabled customers:

    • Stewards and medical teams to assist you with any issues that may arise.

  • Customers who require assistance over the event are entitled to apple for one free pass for their Personal Assistant. Personal Assistant tickets are for those with physical/mental difficulties that would prevent them from attending on their own.

Each Personal Assistant ticket is provided on the expectation that your Personal Assistant is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit and would be able to help you in the event of an emergency.

Once you have purchased your ticket for the event, please email us on events@blackpitbrewery.co.uk to request your free Personal Assistant ticket. Within the email please provide your booking reference and proof of disability.
